Well, there's a thing...  It looks as if I should be in for a pay-out from the class action against Anthropic for unlicensed use of books in AI training.  They have 25 of my novels in their list of qualifying titles, so I've put in a claim.  See what happens.

If anyone else has books published in the US that meet certain qualifications, it's worth checking the on-line list.  Filing a claim is time-consuming but not difficult.  Good luck.

Did anyone else join this action?  Because the settlement offered by Anthropic has now cleared the hurdles and been approved by the US court, and staged payments are likely to start later this year.
