(Which I was yesterday.  For no obvious reason.  Jumping at unexpected noises, which is very unusual for me.

I even checked to make sure I'd taken my adrenaline blocker with the other pills.  Yes, all up to date, so the mystery remains.

I slept little again last night and so will be rather hyperactive today as I try to stay awake right up until I crash into some sleep/nap thing that will then ruin sleep for tonight as well. I'm so sick of not sleeping. I hear this is going to kill me. I wish it would get on with it.

It seems to be a common problem among we ancients.  I can get off to sleep, no problem, but I can't stay asleep long enough.  If I wake early in the night, I'll probably get off again, eventually.  Last night I woke up at 3.45, and didn't.  I try not to let it bother me too much.  You can get a fair bit of rest just lying warm and comfortable in your bed in the dark.  Once it gets to 6 am I get up and make breakfast.
