Today is the Winter Solstice.

This means, whatever your eyes and feelings may tell you to the contrary, after tonight the days are getting longer again.

If that isn't worth a smile then you're beyond help ;-)

I saw the inside of my eyelids, but didn't really register the sight.

I'm ready for longer days.
