Compared to the way we Brits cheerfully twist and mangle almost any words or phrases over here to make a joke 'tampon jokes' are quite rare.

Mind you, young sailors working in Royal Navy stores are usually fascinated to find a rack of 'Tampons, Brass, 8 inch, Two Man lift'.  These are brass plugs used on large naval guns to protect the barrels from salt damage.

We had Easter before Easter and it was wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. I'm now worried about the northerners making it back home safely. They will arrive late tonight in order to be back to work tomorrow.

It took me two days and lots of help from the help line, but I finally got signed into Southwest Airlines and could make the app work on my phone. We are flying Southwest in May/June.

I am flying Allegiant for sistercation in July. That was a snap to put on my phone. Took two minutes and that was because I had to download the app.

I have no idea why this had to be so hard. I had to have my account number, something I didn't have. My name, address, DOB, and email didn't work. We were booked on this flight through a travel agent and I did not have the double secret number. What finally worked was my flight code sign in thing. And then the system was just cranky and then I was cranky too.

But, I finally got it to work last night so my fat ass can get on all the planes.

Well,at least it isn't 'spirit' airlines

I wish there was another fast way to get places.
