I love everything done before I need it to be done. I don't know why.

Some folks are more logical than others.

Is bwf now using ads? Either that or chrome is acting up

Gyppo

I've not seen any, Frank.  But my machine is pretty well ad-blocked anyway.

Try a different browser as a quick check.  Brave is worth a try.

Yea I'm using ad block browser now...

Serves me right for not covering my tracks

It's easy enough to get a bit casual at times.  Never had these problems when we used carrier pigeons, or sent PMs as tightly rolled handwritten notes wrapped around an arrow.  And fleet-footed messengers carried letters in a cleft stick ;-)

Yes for sure...

Chrome keeps closing the ads. Apparently they use up to much resources

I think what happened with the advertising business, is they were mesmerized by the flickering bright lights of downtown regions and thought that was the way to go on the web. Instead, it is annoyingly intrusive. This led to more and more ad blockers.

YouTube is trying like hell to generate more revenue. What the advertisers need to understand is that we do not care about their product. We will always click off as soon as we can. Stop making 30-45 second commercials. They may thrill you to no end, but not us. A flash screen is always more effective. You might even get someone to stay long enough to read the whole thing.

But I have done what I can to shield myself from all the ads. Putting hundreds of ads on one page is ludicrous, but it happens far too often.

I've been winning since last year. And now I'm winning this year. I love my life.

I too am rather pleased with my life, but a little less pleased with what some people expect me to do with it.

Spell Chick

I tend to ignore that aspect and do whatever I please, which involves a lot of sitting.

I went to the surgery to give my routine blood sample and found that the nurse couldn't take it.  Apparently the PSA samples have to be taken in the morning, so they get tested the same day and the results sent to the appropriate hospital.
All to do with complex timetabled logistics of the courier vans scurrying around the county.

I've always had morning appointments up until today so the problem never arose.  Ten days before the next available morning slot, or I can go direct to the hospitals  phlebotomy department if I can't wait that long.

I'll probably get to exercise my bus pass and make a proper day out of it.

Sounds like it could be an adventure story in the works. Gyppo Goes to Town.

I have nothing of substance to add, but as you know, that never stops me.
