a Farmer's Carry is a weightlifting things where you wander around carrying a couple kettlebells, dumbbells, or barbells

I've never seen a farmer carrying any of those things.  Sacks of feed, yes; a random bit of machinery just fallen off a tractor, yes; a sheep, yes; a grudge, certainly.  But none of the above.

My dad used to carry 10 gallon milk canisters to the truck. One in each hand. They were aluminum so the can was lighter than if they had been steel, but that's over 80 pounds per hand. He then had to hoist them each up to the truck bed where someone else placed them for transport.

Damn sight more than I could do, now or ever.
