We have had a few goes at challenges but not seen a lot of interest from people. We also had a discussion about frequency and rules, but it didn't help.

Unfortunately, we've also had a few people leave due to the lack of proper writing on the site.

I guess we just don't have the numbers and the diversity of types of writers. It's a fun place though  :)

I see. Hmmmm. Makes me want to put my thinking cap on and go full on into creative problem solving mode. That's my tendency to want to fix things. Fix everything. But it does seem a shame to lose participation among a group that seems to want more participation.

Of course, I'm part of the problem. I went away for awhile. Seems like after the MWC debacle, the energy scattered. I remember after my friend Mickey died, the group of friends we were all part of seemed to scatter after awhile. Mickey was the glue that held us together. He was the cruise director (cue the "Love Boat" theme). He'd arrange for our Happy Hour locations every Friday. When he was gone, the energy slowed and then eventually dissipated, as friends moved on, or away.

A time for every season, eh? Nonetheless, spring is coming—at least in the Northern Hemisphere that is.

Put that thinking cap on and turn the dial to full power ponder, Miggs. Let us know what you come up with.

Wow. Time flies. I see some familiar names here from past MWC days, so I thought I'd wave and say "hello" again for old times sake.

By the way, I went by the MWC site today and what the heck happened there? No more board there that I could see anymore. Seems to be just a blog now. Did that community completely implode?

No idea what finally happened to the old place. I thinkit doed the death of a sthouand cuts spams.

It's pretty quiet around here, but not much spam.

Hello Gyppo. I do recall now there was a spam problem way back when. You are probably correct, sir.

Just noticed this thread seems to be mostly made of my variously delayed returns to BWF and everyone's subsequent welcome backs. Hilarious. Nonetheless, it's good to be back— even if it only tends to be wordplays. That seems to be the most active forum.

The last time I was back at the old place, it was just one person posting mostly to themself.  A blog seems like the final evolution of its death throes anyway.
