Hi everyone! I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself, littlestlynx. About me: I am in my twenties, in college, planning to become a teacher, and hoping to have some of my writing published sooner or later.

I was referred here from Reddit's r/writing, and it looks like a pretty cool place. I'm excited to post the first chapter of my mystery-thriller for critique, probably in the next week or so, so look out for it!

Welcome to our safe and relatively sane corner of the Big Bad Web.  Please read the etiquette guidelines.  We're not fanatical about them, but there's one which is often overlooked by new members.

Please don't post a link to your work.  Cut and paste it onto a post.

A lot of us here simply won't open links from people we don't know.  We have too much stuff which is important to us in our computers, and even with robust anti-virus software we don't take chances.
