I have never had a publishing deal with anyone other than Amazon KDP so I don't know how it compares to other platforms. All I can say is that the publishing process at Amazon is fast and easy, the bookshelf and advertising interfaces are very user friendly and the payments are always on time. The only problem I have is the same problem every first time author has and that is getting reviews then ultimately sales.

Which is exactly the same problem most authors go on having, regardless of how they publish.  It's a bloody miracle any of us manages to make a living!
