I just joined, written a bit on and off over the last few years, just wanted to make an account somewhere for in case I get stuck

Typing around a cat?

Years ago we had a member on here whose cat would romp up and down the keyboard, typing pages and pages of random stuff for her if she fell asleep and left the keyboard unattended.  Or worse still delete stuff for her until she learned how to use autosave  ;-)

This is a relatively small group but feel free to ask questions.   Some of us even know what we're talking about, in between playing the various word games.

Years ago I wrote poetry, trying short stories now, but would love to actually be able to complete a full length story, I'll get the ideas for full length stories then when I'm planning it out properly my brain decides nope not going to co operate for you starting the actual story, onto the next idea

I've managed to write two short stories so far, but other than planning out the events of a full length story I don't get further than that - un co operative brain)

I've got two cats, the 10 year old gets the grumpy grumps as I call them, and can get nibbly and nippy, the 13+ year old I can easily picture managing to delete stuff, one reason why I use notebooks to write stuff then type the short stories up once I don't have either cat wanting my attention

13+ year old we don't actually know her exact age, which is why I type 13+, as 13 is the youngest she would be now, bless her (she's friendly, she likes trying to "help", she kept chewing the end of the pen earlier when I was writing out one of the detailed ideas, think she was trying to add ideas, bless her <3

10 year old bites the pen as well - she believes she's saving me from the evil pen of doom, she swipes pasta if I'm eating it, just because for some reason she doesn't feel pasta (including lasagne) is a safe thing for humans to eat, apparently its evil :D
