Why can't you support my gibberish? I'd do it if you were stupid.

Heard this on the radio on the way home. Sounded quite good.

Played this Ringo Starr classic this morning and 'danced' with my dog on his birthday. He loved it!  :)

When I hear this tune, which I like anyway, it reminds me of one evening in Cornwall.

Dusk had deepened imperceptibly into darkness without me being aware.  I was fishing, stood knee deep in a river, just downstream of a classic stone-built humpback bridge on a singe lane country road and no traffic had passed for several minutes.  There were little silvery flickers in the near distance, where as the smooth gliding waters were split by by a small island, beyond the deep pool where my line thrummed gently with the passing currents as I let the weight bounce slowly along the gravel bottom.

One of those perfect moments, merged with nature.

There was a concert in the grounds of the stately home about half a mile away, which I was largely ignoring.  Then the man himself played this tune as the finale.

Love that one , Gyppo. And not just the tune. The beguiling, sultry sound of the clarinet never fails to give me goosebumps.

This has never been in the charts, or even released as a single, but it is one of my favourite sounds.

A bit of 90's nostalgia today- I remember when this came out, I genuinely thought it was Jack Nicholson doing the talking.

Mmm, something with haunting vocals where the singer dies at the end. It's perfect.
