We had such a hot day yesterday. Driving to my appointment the temp guage was telling me it was 44'. No where felt cool, even shopping centres. But the storms came in on cue around 6pm, the dogs started scratching at the door on cue, about 15 minutes before that. So a lovely evening with two panting dogs sat on the lounge watching the telly. With the days heat, they spent that on the lounge as well. They spend so much time there these days with all this weird weather, the lounge has doggy but cheek marks.

Today is over cast but warm. Should only top 30ish

I got my half hour walk and Dick got his golf game in before the rains came. But then the rains came.

Overcast and cool- feels and smells like rain.

Same here but a lot cooler today then yesterday. That is a relief

Not raining, which is good.

The air is all wet.

Still overcast but no rain today, 9am so plenty of time. It's pleasant but the humidity will rise

It was beautiful here today. Warm but not hot, sun shining, a bit of a breeze but not windy. Perfect.

Another cool day. Hopefully will be wet later.

Our dams are only 72% full. Cape Town will run out of water in May 2018 - they get winter rain and our rivers don't flow there, so more rain here won't help them, but will help us.

I have no idea what the weather is like today.

Raining.  But not bitter biting cold.

What is the difference?

I've been semi-hibernating today, but there's been a lot of damp around.  The streets have never been dry any  of the times I looked out.  I may venture out in search of milk later.  Or I may just wait and find it on the doorstep in the morning.  The latter is likely to win.

Another beautiful day on the East Coast. I took a wonderful afternoon walk in the sunshine. Dick played a round of golf. Gorgeous.
