It happens sometimes.  The lighter mornings and longer days are helping, even if the rain's pissing down a little bit too often just recently.

The seasons are turning a corner ;-) 

All performers, not matter how good, have days when they are clearly just working through their 'playlist', just 'earning their corn'.

Other times they're clearly having fun on stage.

And as always, whenever I hear this song, I remember 'Trogg',a workmate on nights, prancing around the bakery in his whites and apron, dancing intricate little steps totally at odds with his rotund figure, and singing, with an utterly straight face, "All around my twat...".

The Silver Sneakers ladies went out to lunch yesterday and we went to a new place. It was right across the street from on of the places I buy yarn and wouldn't you know it, I was getting low on yarn. So I mosied across the street after we ate and bought three huge bags of yarn, enough to make 10 blankets.

The food was great, the company better. Some young man (30s-40s) asked us if we were celebrating anything. Susan said, "Being alive."

Every time you mention the 'Silver Sneakers' I have a vision of silver footwear with little wings on the heels.  Like the winged sandals of Mercury, Messenger Of The Gods.

Carol actually has spray painted a pair of trainers silver. I prefer the Mercury vision myself.
