If you've a moment please click my blog link and like it. It's about my Kepler's Son published today. Now the hateful task of promo. Anyone know a cheap publicist?

Done! Congrats on the release, Geoff.
If I had to live my life again, I'd make the same mistakes, only sooner.

It's always been the way with all fiction published by anyone but it still feels weird when readers find nuances and aspects of a novel that I hadn't written in!
In my Flying Crooked series of SF novellas there's a very clever AI called CAN for short. Think HAL except CAN has by now spread to every piece of electronics in the Keplerian System and on to Earth. Now this reviewer seems upset that an AI could have emotions ignoring modern neuroscience suggesting any complex collection of electrochemical impulses could develop a personality. CAN is wholly AI but the reviewer wants to think it has a little organic plant in there. Hahah.
