Quote from: WordBird on October 07, 2022, 04:11:06 PMGreetings All,
So my father-in-law passed away last Friday. We found out on Wednesday that my sister-in-law managed to change the will (as power of attorney). She has been suing us for the last year over an easement. Now she has written my husband out of the will except for the attorney bills that she's racked up plus interest. Is that even legal? I mean, when someone dies, isn't it just a matter of you just don't get anything? How in the hell can a will demand that you pay for bills that you didn't incur? Hopefully a lawyer will be able to answer all that.

Well that didn't go as planned.
