Speaking of Olive Oyl there was a Polish girl at my school who was a dead ringer for Olive.  Even her choice of clothes.  Oddly enough I can't recall anyone teasing her about this.

There's also an ancient joke about Popeye beating hell out of two Jews outside the synagogue, because he overheard them saying they were going to Mount Olive.
