Welcome to the 21st century chick!

IIRC you have had issues with said laptop for years now?  I'm hoping the adjustment goes well

Laura,you are absolutely correct!

Dental cleaning plus surgery

Medications and x-rays, prescriptions... They all add up

I recently learned that a sensor used in x-ray costs $12 grand 💀😭😭

He had that cracked tooth for years. Hes been chewing on one side for years. He's obviously much better now.

My first vet had warned me. If you don't look after his teeth it'll cost you..

We Canadians don't experience the pandemonium caused by black Friday.. the first time I shopped black Friday I spent $150 at Target on a blender and bathroom decor... Then I found out that had I shopped at Walmart and the dollar store I would have saved $100 🤑😱👀

The best buy thus far was a pair of winter hikers on sale for $35 instead of the regular price of $150!

Just think of an ordinary breakfast and supersize it

4-6 eggs, toast with a healthy serving of bacon and or sausage with fried taters and or beans

Bottomless coffee
Edit
As per the currency

$100 Canadian nets you 58 in pounds

Oh,and you better not expect me to pay in British pounds. I'm not that rich

The more difficult it is to remove the roots the pricier

Even for a cleaning. Theres a cost for induction, nerve block, blood test etc...

My vet offered to trim his nails remove any skin tags for free

I love near the US Border. Its much cheaper down south... but having to get a passport and paperwork for the dog plus initial vet consultation adds up lol

My oh my, owning a dog is pricey😱

During last year's wellness exam it was brought to my attention that the dog had a cracked molar. Today was the big day. I'm happy to report that pigs did very well.. Upon waking up, I was told he barked nonstop, looking for me 😞

He was very drunk, until we got home. He sobered up quickly after a meal

Altogether it cost me $1700 plus a $1000 grant from the Farley foundation. The manager of the clinic and I have arranged a payment plan to pay off the final $660... $3300 😱

Must be nice to bill per 10 minutes lol

Our pets are worth every penny spent

Found a great deal on bulk shrimp. I'll be making shrimp cakes this winter.. the only 2 differences I'd make is boiling them first and leave them unpeeled. In lieu of panko breadcrumbs,I'm gonna try strovetop turkey stuffing 👀

A food processor is handy...

End note: I prefer the taste of unpeeled shrimp.

Servings: 6 Author: Dinner at the Zoo
Ingredients
1 pound raw shrimp peeled and deveined
3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper
3 tablespoons sliced chives plus more for garnish
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 eggs
1 teaspoon lemon zest
4 tablespoons olive oil
Optional: sour cream and lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
Place the shrimp in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until coarsely chopped - do not grind into a paste.
Transfer the shrimp to a large bowl and add the panko breadcrumbs, red bell pepper, chives, salt, pepper, eggs, and lemon zest. Stir gently to combine.
Form the shrimp mixture into 6 patties.
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Add the shrimp patties in a single layer and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Serve immediately, topped with additional chives and sour cream if desired. Garnish with lemon wedges if desired.
