It really is all about the novelty. In a world where everything is right at one's fingertips, there is little left to excite. Want to see the Taj Mahal, pull it up on the web. Want to see the Grand Canyon, ask Google. However, when seen in person, all one can say is that the pictures don't do it justice.

So the rare bird that alights on the bird feeder is more interesting. Frankly, I think all male birds are more interesting with their bright plumage. Female birds are just duller. They don't need to show off to attract a mate.

How can we encourage healthy behavior? No matter how much we natter on about bad food, sedentary life styles, smoking, or licit or illicit drugs (including alcohol), they all remain popular. With so many people suffering the consequences of their bad habits, why don't the bad habits change?

I didn't know there still was a fur industry. Fakes are so believable, and cheaper. But I'm not sure what COVID would have to do with this as the tanning process is germ killing.

I prefer cotton stuff. Or synthetic crap.

Bones, I could use a nice freshly brewed cup of coffee.

And some sugar free, carb free, chocolate cake.

I hate having too much help, which is why I turn lots of the help off. I do run spell check when I'm done writing things because A) I can't spell for shit and B) I make many, many typos.

I was sufficiently scarred by just this small bit.  ;D ;D ;D

I think that is the entire product line.

I know some people really like this stuff. And it smells pretty, so if you are just diffusing it instead of lighting incense or a candle, I have no problems. It even may have some topical benefits. But really? It isn't going to cure COVID or cancer or anything. I saw some poor frantic mother asking for an oil that would fix her child's birth defect that had a 100% chance of leading to blindness. What the hell?

But they do smell pretty. Well, most of them.
