My state, not even a really populous state, now has almost 90,000 confirmed cases on the books. Unless you use another data source that says it is over the 90,000 mark. I don't know when each source updates their data set, but whichever way I see it, it is a lot of people with more than 1,600 dead in my state alone.

Our professional baseball and football players are testing positive over and over and some people are opting out of very lucrative contracts and refusing to play in the coming season.

I just posted Kahlil Gibran's quotation again because it believe it is the crux of the issue at hand. "Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future, but from wanting to control it." I want control or at the very least, real answers. I need a good prognosticator.

For now, I'm glad I live in the Netherlands, where things appear to be reasonably under control. I, thankfully, don't personally know anyone who has or had Covid-19. I can only hope things will stay that way.

Bones, a Martini, please.

Yesterday we had to cut our Sistercation call short because one sister had to pick up her car - it was getting a new set of tires. It also needed new brakes making a bad situation even more costly. On the bright side, she can now both go and stop.

Today we got to play together until the battery on my unplugged laptop was giving me notice that it was time to plug back in. That is our sign that we are done.

Melbourne in Victoria, here in Oz, has gone into stage 4 again. Nothing like the US numbers but the amount of stupidity from citizens never fails to make me shake my head. So many do the right thing, I do hope you all stay safe guys. Sydney is heading the same way, we have Walkabout planned for next week, heading to a state that is free of this bitch IF the borders aren't slammed shut by then

I'll keep  my fingers and toes crossed for you, Fly.

Bones, I could do with a good breakfast. Gluten free, of course.

The not quite a hurricane is now off shore right next to me and the rain bands are swirling past. Luckily, I planned for this and my morning is going smoothly despite the weather.

Bones, I will also have a nice breakfast. Make sure the gluten is there. And the bacon.
Waffles or pancakes would be great.

Half seven PM over here already. I had a very early supper at six-ish.
I've been working on my map today. it's not nearly finished yet, so I'd better get on with it.

Bones, an Irish Coffee would be nice.
