Comments?

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - open throttle in the other -
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming : "Woo Hoo, what
a ride!"

Nothing wrong with doing sod-all. I have plenty of those days. I tell myself my body needs to rest. It might even be true too.  ;D

I'd truly hate to waste the effort of coiling it up again if I haven't even used it ;-)  It's funny how some things can really irk whilst other activities are cheerfully written off.

Haha! I'm like that too.

Floors done, bins emptied, cleaner emptied, cable coiled up neatly.  Washing done and tumble dried.  Still full of energy.  I guess today was just a slow start day.

When I think about it I'm not surprised, because yesterday was one of those hyper-days when I definitely 'went past myself', without realising until my brain and fingers totally forgot one of my regular keyboard shortcuts. This made me aware I was losing it a bit ;-)

But the 'manic' bit is so damned seductive when its happening.

This morning the missing shortcut was back without having to even think about it.

Sometimes I wish I had a tumble drier. Then I remember it ruins your clothes and I'm fine having to line-dry all my laundry.

It's Sunday over here now. And I've gotta go find my bed. Should be in the bedroom. First door on the right when, coming from the living room, I enter the hallway. But I don't want to go to bed yet. I'll have a nightcap first.

Bones, a Martini, please.

Howdi folks, Bones, my Stepson sent me a picture of a couple of cans of 'Red Stripe' lager. I remember one of my pupils (back when I was a driving instructor) presenting me with a 24 pack of the proper stuff, called 'Crucial Brew' back then. It was fresh in from Jamaica, and unlike it's 4.5% modern counterpart, it weighed in at 9%.

I don't suppose you have connections... Ah, I see you have, yes I'll have a can, should have known there'd be no need to ask. Cheers.

I got an interesting email/post in another forum last night. A guy out in California from whom I bought the suspension and some other bits for my YAM, suggested a few parts that might aid me to convert it to 'left-hand drive'. Now I'd already heard of the 'Kliktronic' gear change system from the NADB website, a system that enables the gears to be changed by a pair of buttons.

Nice, especially if combined with an ignition interrupt module. But you still need to use the clutch to set off and stop. Unless, that is, you have a device that Randy has suggested, a centrifugal clutch, which I may be able to obtain  from a company in USA that he has suggested.

That would give me a system with a very similar 'experience' to that of the Honda NC750X dct that I've been toying with the idea of. A push-button gear selection, similar to a 54bhp 750, but on a 130bhp 1200?

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

AH, let's have a choon, a 'Blast from the past'.

DC, I only understood about half of that technical part, but it sounds like you are finding joy. Marie Kondo would be so proud. Buy more stuff!
