Sci fi question
« on: June 11, 2018, 10:28:35 PM »
I want to buy a sci-fi book for my son-in-law so I googled Hugo awards to find a recent good one. I see there has been a lot of controversy over the awards being trolled by science deniers and the awards can no longer be trusted to be based on actual science. I know there are those among you guys involved in the genre can you suggest any good reads to see him through some troubling health problems? Thanks.

I'm not a sci-fi reader, but my partner is and he recommends a guy called James Corey.  :)
