Got a respectable review for the new book from Publishers Weekly.  I've been called a lot worse than Diverting and Rewarding.

Diverting and rewarding. That doesn't sound bad at all. Congrats.

Thanks, Dan.

Delighted, not to say amazed, that publishing seems to be catching up with the 21st century and my publishers are taking an advert with "Booklist" to promote the thing.  It's all modern and digital, and changes from one image to another like the sponsors' logo behind a football stadium goal.

It'll set a dangerous precedent, though - if we're not careful, ordinary people (ie readers) will actually know when a book's coming out.

OK, now I know why my publishers put good money into an advertisement with Booklist.  I'm far too modest to quote their review of Silent Footsteps, I'll just make the point that no, I didn't write it myself.

How is your book selling?
King of the Bullies, an ebook, narrates about outrageous suveillance, endless persecution, based largely on real events.

Too soon to know.

But I just got a royalty cheque from the first book I had published, in 1980.  That's £5-57 I wasn't holding my breath for!  E-book, of course, and a couple of print-on-demands.  Happily, there were nineteen other titles accounted for in the same return.
