My grandsons played at being monkeys up trees in the park today so I played them Hey, hey we're the Monkees on my phone and sang along. They of course had never heard it before but were soon singling along as they swung through the trees. So that was my fave song for today.

The cool thing about writing what you know is that you can always know more.

And now for something which is totally 'politically incorrect', and also factually incorrect as it doesn't solve all your problems as the words imply.

But in honour of my new 'precision tool' for target shooting, which arrived today after several months of waiting due to Covid restrictions and import hassles during the Brexit transition, this tune from 1967 seems appropriate.  It was in the charts when my first air rifle purchase arrived by carrier.  That one was German too.

Such a bouncy little tune ;-)
