I would miss heat and air conditioning, wouldn't you? I know that is along the lines of shelter, but my ancestors had shelter and no AC.

I would miss it along with everything run on electricity. So, wouldn't it be more of electricity that we miss? I love power. And not the personal kind.

Couldn't we make electricity? What if we attached a dynamo to you while you do your exercises?

You apparently over estimate my output. I do a lot of resting in between sets. Did you only need spurts of power? If so, I'm your gal.

Carling with Cathy

I remember that one Gyppo. I believe I saw it at TTB and quite liked it. Very relatable.

As you know, Luara I am not a fan of the black art of marketing, so, as the actress said to the Bishop: this is a hard one.

I suppose if must choose then I'd go for the Carling Dambusters ad.

Do you drink Carling Black Label?
That's hilarious.

I'm sorry, what were we talking about?

Was it, how many uppers do we need to add to Patti's porridge before she could create enough electricity to power a city?

I don't eat porridge. Could you sneak them into my coffee?

Did you know they're calling for snow flurries over my way? That almost never happens here.

It snowed at my niece's but not at my sister's. They are about ten minutes drive apart. But Jen is at a bit higher elevation and a bit farther away from lots and lots of concrete. So Pam got rain, Jen got snow flurries, but nothing that stuck. Isn't weather fun?

Can you imagine a world without weather?

No.  There has to be some sort of weather, even if it's a constant and unchanging heat, or rain, or cloud, etc., doesn't there?

It's a bit like the question "What would you do if you opened your front door and there was absolutely nothing there.  No step, no street, no world.  Absolutely nothing beyond your doorframe.

What about a submarine world (no land above water)? Could that be weatherless?

Would the weather forecast be for either wavy or still? Chance of Seaweed?

Would you need to know about dead sea creatures falling down to be eaten by the flora and fauna of the seabed? Wouldn't a whale landing on your home be some impressive weather?
