Several years ago some friends invited us to go to a John Mellencamp concert.  I wasn't a huge fan, but the tickets were free and it sounded like a good time.  Donovan was touring with him.

Mellencamp put on one of the best shows I've ever seen. I had no idea how many songs he had on the radio.  It was two hours of seemingly one hit after another.

Donovan wasn't an opening band like most concerts.  He was a break in between sets for Mellencamp.

It was really quite enjoyable. The entire evening was full of great music.  I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it.
