HELP! Is it just me or is this a universal problem?

I keep getting a '404 attachment not found' error when I try to look at or load  pictures to the forum.  (They are all below the size limit, so it's not that. ) This started a couple of days ago and I can't think of anything I've changed at this end.

The links are still there with the posts, but I get the error message when I click on them.

I can still add pictures to emails sent to family.

A quick place to check would be in the cookbook section of the bar.  Quite a few pictures there ;-)

If it's specifically a forum problem I'll have to ask Karl to investigate.

I tried it and got this

The attachments upload directory is not writable.
Which looks like a site-specific error.

My best guess would be that we have used our allotted space for uploads.

Yep, it's all unix cobblers. Unix/Linux is an operating system written by the insane for the insane. That chmod twaddle is all about using a bit map to set permissions just like we would have done forty years ago.

Def a site problem. I tried to upload a photo the other day. No luck. That's when I noticed none of the pictures showed up.
