This is just a quick win. Back to the gym, finally.

My yoga practice went a bit better today. I was a little un-stretchy after not doing much, but it's getting easier to stretch, except now my legs are sore.

I think with all this nonsense in my life, I should get to win.

And now you're losing your win to me. But feel free to try again.

It was a 7.1 and it was a longer than usual, weird ride. It started as a slow rocking motion, then built to a jolt that suddenly became more violent, then subsided. I thought, "Uh oh! It's gonna' get worse. Maybe it's the big one they keep warning us about."

I'm glad it wasn't.

The epicenter was 130 miles from us. It felt strong here. I'm sure it was more terrifying for the people closest to it.

I remember standing in front of the second floor large plate glass window watching the ground roll around in the back yard. This was probably not the smartest place to be in an earthquake, but I was in Ohio and didn't even know we had such things. It was amazing to see and the window did not shatter, so that was good. I have no recollection of either the epicenter or the Richter scale number for the event, but I can still see the rolling ground.
