I was parked at a Biscuit factory once over, waiting to unload a consignment  of new boxes, when a large tanker pulled in, spun round and reversed up to an intake pipe on the wall. Curious, I asked the driver what a tanker delivered to a biscuit factory.

"Twenty-six thousand litres of liquid Chocolate".

It occurred to me that it would make the ideal birthday present for my former climbing buddy Linda. Let the chocolate solidify then park it outside her house and tell her to eat her way through it... ;D
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - open throttle in the other -
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming : "Woo Hoo, what
a ride!"

Twenty-six thousand litres of chocolate! Now we're talking! Not even I could eat that much. Not in one go, anyway. ;)

FF, no there's an idea! I think I found my calling. I'm gonna be a professional chocolate tanker hijacker.

Hmm, the Jack Daniels distillery is just a couple of hours away from me. Perhaps I should plan a tanker hijacking, as well?

When spirits are distributed in bulk by tanker it's seriously potent stuff, way over-proof.  It's diluted later before it gets into bottles.   If you drank it straight from the tanker it would, quite possibly, kill you.

It would also burn violently (even explode) if it ignited when spilled across the motorway in crash.  Volatile is an inadequate word to describe it ;-)

Chocolate and Jack Daniel's tanker hijacking?

I don't know. I think I'm better off enjoying chocolate without knowing how it's delivered.

I'm with you on the cilantro, Patti. Can't stand the stuff, neither can my boys. I heard it was genetic. So, is a weakness for alcohol. :o

Dan, the only way I tolerate champagne is in a mimosa and the juice must be fresh squeezed.

FF, did you eat chocolate when you were pregnant?  ;)

Probably not so much, I was a savoury pregnant to be honest.

I OD'd on chocolate one day and it resulted in a migraine, not eaten it so much since then

Yes, chocolate can trigger migraines. I learnt that the hard way too. Now I just make sure never to OD on the stuff.

What is this "OD on chocolate" of which you speak?

I suppose I could now if I really wanted to spike my blood sugar, but back when my body worked ... the sky was the limit. Which may be why I'm in this unenviable position now.

Hmmm, I just read this article claiming that chocolate probably does NOT trigger migraines, but rather the migraine triggers a chocolate craving.

https://www.migrainekey.com/migraine-trigger/chocolate/

Not sure if it's true, of course, but it seems likely.

The amount of chocolate I ate the day I got my first, no way was I craving so I would dispute that one
