That's amazing its still empty Gyp. Is your new place starting to feel like home mate?
Definitely. It took about two months to stop referring to the old place as home. Now it's just Number Sixty, part of my history.
For a while the bungalow was 'the new place', then it was 'my new place', then it went through a spell of being referred to by it's number (probably because people kept asking me where it was. Currently it's 'The bungalow' to me, I've subconsciously dropped the 'mine' because it no longer seems necessary.
It may get a name eventually if something feels right. The house went through several names, although none of them ever made it onto a nameplate.
I was talking to an old friend, rediscovered after about six years, last night. He had trouble getting his head around all the changes I told him about. 'But you've
always lived there. That place is a part of
my history too.'
