One of my Facebook friends is a old high school person. We were in the band together, played tuba together during marching season, also played flute together during concert season.

She posted an old picture of her and the tube and we went back and forth, with another friend who also played tuba in marching band, but she was a trumpet player for concert band. It has been fun reminiscing.

I've been trying to make contact with my principal fighting partner from the arena days.  But he's always been a bit elusive.  Even more of a recluse than me.

No doubt he will look at his emails eventually.

I got to entertain the citizenry this morning.

The workout included toes to bar, but I don't have a pull up bar. So the other options was toes to wall. Lay down with your head about a foot from the wall, and then kick your feet up until they touch the wall. It's like a reverse sit up.

Our house is right at the T of a another road. As I was laying on the floor of my garage, kicking my feet into the air, very unlike a retiree, people walking down the street with their dogs were given a treat. I have no idea what they thought. But it was four rounds of this nonsense and there were three dog walkers who caught me.

I hope it made their day funnier.

I went to grocery store today. It is so close by, we usually go several times a week. But with all this staying home stuff, I hadn't been in a week and really needed quite a few groceries. Mostly produce, but a few dairy things and a couple canned goods. They had everything I wanted except a bag of smaller apples. The big ones are too many carbs for me. But they did have grapes on sale, so I will be having them with my cheese and crackers instead of the apple.

I am so grateful for the truckers and the store personnel. I thanked the store people, but have no idea how I go about thanking all the truckers.

We have been hearing about special shopping opportunities for the "elderly" which start earlier in the morning. It gives the old farts a chance to shop without as many people around and gives them a space to get hold of necessities.

I finally saw an ad that informed me as to what is considered to be "elderly". Sixty.

I'm elderly. I didn't know.

My husband is simply amazing. Always, but especially in this situation as I tend to lean on him more.

I cleaned out the freezer and got it nicely sorted.

I had all these Keto/low carb ice creams that simply need to be eaten so I have room for veggies. It's a difficult job, but I will somehow manage.
Keto ice-cream? I'm intrigued.

Sola brand is the best.
Enlightened ice cream bars are pretty good, too.

On the days I don't work out, I eat cereal. But all of them are chock full of carbs. I found some Sola granola that has a net carb count that is reasonable for my diet restrictions. It comes in several flavors and I like them all. It tastes good.
