Then she realised; it wasn't coffee beans she'd been growing but cannabis beans. No wonder all her customers were so mellow! And now the DEA were at the house.

Tentatively, Patti opened the door.

"Are you Patrica McNurseface?" the agent asked.

Patti's lover, Riccrado, who was hiding behind a large pile of crochet blankets, cocked his weapon.

"What was that!" the DEA agent shouted.

"Oh just my bad hip," Patti said. "It squeaks a bit after a twenty-mile run."

"Sorry to hear that," the DEA agent said reaching into his jacket. "I'll have a half-pound of your finest Columbian dark roast, please."
