Bad Thing/Good Thing
« on: April 17, 2019, 06:56:33 AM »
This is a twist on a simple game.

The person above you posts something good then you follow up with a post that will taint their good thing. Then you post a good thing for the next person to ruin.

Example:

The person above me posts,  "I won the lottery."

My follow up post is...
Bad thing:
"But in your excitement, you crashed your car on the way to cash in and the lottery ticket burned in the resulting fire."

Have fun with this. Let's see where it goes...

I won the lottery!

Good thing:

I won two tickets to what promises to be a great concert.

Sounded good, until I found out that second prize was four tickets.

On the plus side, my boyfriend's borrowed his dad's car to drive us there.

but you ended up in a head-on collision and your boyfriend died.

On the bright side, at the funeral you learnt he was a two-timing bastard, so you were better off without him anyway.

but thanks to the draught a single spark set the whole backyard ablaze. And the fire spread to the house too.

However, you moved into a much nicer house now.

Not sure about the neighbours: they're never about during the day, they wear evening dress even at home, and every one of them needs the urgent attention of an orthodontist.

I got a raise at work!
